Porous metal foam is an open celled structure made up of permeable pores. This matrix of cells and ligaments is fully customizable and can be optimized to meet the performance requirements of a broad range of applications.

Porous metal foam is commonly used in applications that benefit from a very high surface area and from the nature-mimicking morphology of the rigid cellular structure.

The high surface area to volume ratios of our porous metal foam offer heat transfer rates unattainable with any other material.

The high uniformity of our porous metal foam allows crush strength to be precisely controlled by altering density, and pore or ligament size. This is exceptionally useful for energy absorption applications.
